Cop stopped me for No Reason

The police officer may have stopped you for no reason. Your attorney must uncover the true reason why you were stopped.
The lawyer will seek to expose or uncover whether the cop had probable cause to make the stop. A police officer can
offer many reasons to make a stop. Failure to use turn signal while changing lanes for example. On its face, that
may sound like a good and valid reason to stop, but the truth is that you only need to use your turn signal when
changing lanes if by doing so you could effect the movement of another vehicle. This is just one example of many.
The law is clear what can and can not be done, your lawyer must look at all aspects of your case. Even if you took a
breath and it was over the legal limit and you were stopped without probable cause, a motion should be filed to suppress
the evidence. If granted, the state could lose the ability to go forward with the case and would have to dismiss the
charges.
