5 Costly Mistakes to Avoid When Choosing a Criminal Defense Attorney

MISTAKE #1: Choosing a florida lawyer who doesn't have enough experience. One key factor in choosing a criminal defense attorney is the depxh of his knowledge, skill, judgment and experience. The most important way a lawyer learns how to defend cases is by representing hundreds of clients over a period of years.
MISTAKE #2: Choosing a florida lawyer only because you like his advertising. A flashy brochure or yellow-page ad is not necessarily a sign of a good lawyer. Anyone can buy an ad or print a brochure. Make sure you look at how long the lawyer has practiced law and evaluate the depxh of the lawyer's knowledge and experience.
MISTAKE #3: Choosing a florida lawyer based on a phone conversation. Before you hire a lawyer, you should sit down with the attorney and review your case. As the lawyer explains the charges against you and answers your questions, you will know if you feel comfortable working with that lawyer.
